Religion is a madhouse, and faith is madness
The unawakened one, who is not aware of Pure Awareness, is empty within. This ignorance of the true Self creates a void that he tries to fill with artificial fillers such as alcohol, drugs, and religion. When he is connected to the false source of power, he is Important, Stupefied, and satisfied. When he is without, he is in crisis, sober and Poor.
Like ordinary addicts of alcohol and drugs, who fill the emptiness within them due to their lack of awareness of Pure Awareness and their true Being, the religious fill it with god delusion. At the place where the Awareness of Pure Awareness should be, they put god. In the place of Nothingness, they put only another nothingness, or the illusion of an imaginary being, and even a “Good” one. They have to constantly maintain their obsession with rituals. They have to keep looking at the god (on the cross) so that the connection with the dealer is not broken.
Religious faith is a drug, and believers are dependent on god and their dependence on religion. God is the Super Object of addiction, obsession, horror, paranoia, submission, self-sacrifice, and other harmful behaviors and mental disorders. Religion is a distinct addiction, characterized by the desire for a quick high, in addition to compulsive behavior. The religious attach themselves to god by thinking of him, reading or quoting some of his statements, and asking for mercy.
